Daniel sighed. The underrealm was nothing like what he thought it would be, and he hadn't made a single friend.
Perhaps it was because he wasn't like the others: inferior. He had the blood of his pastamonster parent, BEN, who also had descended from monster to human, and the weaker blood of his human mother, Jazzy Sdrawk.
He had just fended off a few weakbloods, the ones who were classified as a code blue, and he was exhausted. His father was called a highblood, one who was classified as code yellow or higher, so he had some supernatural powers as well.
Daniel sat down on the shoulder of the road. His father's home was allthe way across Lavender Town, and he was stillon the neverending road, a small little winding path that went out of Lavender and into the middle of nowhere. Not even highbloods would ggo out there. The only one was Zalgo, the one who ruled the entire realm anyway.
His computer made various notes on the information attained that day and backed up his brain on the 5 TB harddrive that his father had instaled in him, giving him an upgraded system that could hold 80% more information that a humanbraincould hold if a human ever used 100% of their brain.
He wanted to wait to start his walk home, he wanted to be strong should he have to fend off more enemies. But after a it of waiting, Daniel decided he was ready to go. Daniel sprinted into town, weaving through crowds. He felt lost for a moment, panicking. "Daddy!" he would shout into the hordes of freaks, most passing by, only a few barely bbothering to give him attention by merely looking at him.
Daniel felt hopeless. He had lost his sense of direction, but still he called for his father like a lost little boy.
He had dashed for a fruit stand, but a line had formed. Daniel hadn't picked up on it in time, and his lack ofdepth perception made it hard to see how far away they were. He collided into a man wearing green, who turned around.
"Pup!" Daniel shouted and hugged the man. It was his father, BEN. BEN smiled and hugged him back. He had paid for his groceries already and he wasplanning to walk home anyhow. "I was so scared! igot into a fight and got lost, and-"
"Come on Daniel," BEN said, holding his hand. "It's time we came in from the rain."
